Hi, I’m Anne—a mother, singer, teacher, and friend.
I’m passionate about making the world a more beautiful place, and for me, that means teaching people how to sing. Many of us feel uncertain, uncomfortable, or even lost when it comes to our own voices.
In our world, singing is often seen as something only for the naturally gifted. Many people rarely sing with others, except maybe a “Happy Birthday” now and then or singing along at a concert. But everyone can reclaim their voice and find joy in singing, regardless of how they think they sound.
I understand the struggle.
I grew up loving to sing and perform. But in college, things started to turn. I became overwhelmed by performance anxiety, constantly trying to “sound good” and compete. Comparision stole my joy and took over my body. I reached a breaking point and questioned the purpose of it all.
I Learned that singing
has a higher purpose than simply sounding good;
it’s about grounding myself and connecting with others.
For over 15 years, I have devoted myself to helping people sing with joy, confidence, and freedom—not only to sound good but as a form of wellness, a gift to themselves, and a gift to others.
Along with reaching technical singing goals, singing should bring us joy and connection. I’m here to stand by my students as they discover their voices, whether they are a new parent singing a baby’s lullaby, a high school student auditioning for a musical, or a singer in a local band.
I know that singing is an essential part of being human, and that it’s never too late to discover the joy that singing brings.
You can find joy and connection through Singing.
It’s time to embrace the voice you were born with.
